When multiple files are placed in the Download Block, a ZIP is created

If you're adding more than one file into a single Download Block on your website, these files will automatically be compressed into a ZIP. If a customer is downloading the ZIP file on to their iPhone, there are a few steps that'll need to take place to make sure all of the contents can be properly viewed.

To open a ZIP on your iPhone:

  • Download a file (ZIP) from a Download Block. All blocks that have more than one file are automatically compressed into a ZIP.

  • Once the download is complete, tap the Download button in Safari next to the search bar. If you're using another web browser, these downloads may be located in a different place.

  • Your device will now open the Files app and show you the ZIP containing the download

  • If you tap this ZIP in the Files app, it will automatically unzip and create a folder.

  • Tapping this folder will give you full access to all of the files inside of that Download Block and ZIP
