Using a custom favicon or browser icon helps to add some flair to your site. A custom favicon allows your site to stand out when a browser is full of tabs or bookmarks.

All Universe sites will use our logo favicon by default. You can also choose between one of the other pre-generated favicon options we have for you. However, if you want to take your site's customizability to the next level, you can upload a custom image as a favicon.

To add a custom favicon on the iOS app:

1. Tap on the Settings tab

2. Tap Site Info

3. Tap on + Add custom favicon

4. Select the image you wish to use as your new favicon

5. Make sure to tap Save to finalize your changes

👉 We recommend using a crisp, 32 x 32 pixel png for your favicon. This will make sure your favicon will look great across all browsers and device types.
