Anyone can create a site on Universe regardless of their device. Simply visit web.univer.se to sign up or login, and start creating!

👉 Please be advised that some features, like Commerce or Deleting sites, are not yet supported on the web.

If you are signing up for Universe for the first time:

1. Visit web.univer.se

2. Create an account with your email address and password

3. Choose your domain, which is the address at which your site will live

   • You can choose to host your site on the .univer.se domain for free, or choose a custom domain for just $24.99/year

     

4. After your domain selection, you can get started building your first site with a template, or with GUS, the AI Designer for Universe; you can also start with a Blank Canvas to add your own background and blocks

If you already have a Universe account:

1. Visit web.univer.se
2. Login to your account with your email address and password, or choose Sign in with Apple
3. After you login, you can edit existing sites you’ve already built or create a new site
   • Note: Our web experience does not yet support all features, including commerce; when editing an existing site, some unsupported blocks may not render correctly
4. To create a new site, scroll to the bottom of your list of existing sites, and choose ‘Create New Site +’
5. Choose your domain, which is the address at which your site will live
   • You can choose to host your site on the .univer.se domain for free, or choose a custom domain for just $24.99/year
6. After your domain selection, you can get started building your first site with a template, or with GUS, the AI Designer for Universe; you can also start with a Blank Canvas to add your own background and blocks

Building your site

Option 1: Let GUS get you started

Not sure where to begin? Choose the ‘Design with GUS [Beta]’ option after Domain Selection to let our AI Designer, GUS, get you started. Simply answer a few questions, and GUS will build a custom site based on your responses.

Then, click on any of the blocks on the GRID (text, shapes, images, links, etc.) to customize them.

You can also click the ‘+’ icon on the bottom of the screen to add new Blocks.

Option 2: Use a Template

On web.univer.se, you can choose from dozens of templates to build your site. Browse available templates after choosing your Domain by clicking on it. Then, click on any of the blocks on the GRID (text, shapes, images, links, etc.) to customize them.

You can also click the ‘+’ icon on the bottom of the screen to add new Blocks.

Option 3: Start from Scratch

When viewing available templates, you’ll find the ‘Blank Canvas’ option hanging out amongst the other pre-fabricated options. Feeling like an expert? Choose ‘Blank Canvas’ and then add your own background and blocks to build a truly custom site.
