You'll need to make sure the app can access your photos
Since the introduction of iOS and iPadOS 14, you're required to grant apps more permission to access your photos and videos. If you don't grant Universe access to all media, you may run into some issues when using the Photo or Video Blocks.
If these blocks are showing no images or videos inside of them, make sure the app has permission to view these files.
To grant Universe access:
Open the Settings app on your device.
Scroll down until you see Universe.
Tap Universe.
Tap Photos
Tap All Photos
Relaunch Universe to see the changes.
To enable photo access on macOS:
On your Mac device, choose the Apple menu ๏ฃฟ and select System Preferences
From System Preferences, click Security & Privacy
Click Privacy
Select Photos
Select the checkbox next to Universe to allow it Full Access to Photos
