How to ensure your Universe app is up to date

We are constantly working to improve Universe with new features, bug fixes, and small improvements. We release updates to Universe nearly every week.

If you are using web.univer.se you are already using the latest version. Our web app allows us to release these updates instantly.

If you are using our iPhone or iPad app, these updates go through an Apple review process before appearing in the App Store.

Check your Universe app Version

You can find the current version of your Universe iPhone app by tapping the Profile icon in the top left then tapping App Info. At the very bottom of the App Info screen you will see your current version number. You can tap the version number to copy it if you need to share it with Customer Service.

You can find the current version of your Universe iPad app by tapping Profile Settings in the side bar then tapping App Info. At the very bottom of the App Info screen you will see your current version number.

To compare that number to the latest version search the App Store for "Universe". On the Universe Product page look for the What's New section. You should see a Version number there as well which is our latest release. If those numbers match you are on the latest version of the app. If they do not match, look for an Update button to download the newest Universe app.

 

Update your Universe app

Search the App Store for "Universe". Find the Universe in the search results and select it. Near the top of the page you should see an Update button. If you do not see an update but rather an Open button. You are already using the latest version of the app.

 

Automatically Update Universe app

Your iPhone can automatically update your apps while it is charging overnight. We recommend turning this feature on to ensure you're always using the latest Universe version. To check if you have automatic updates turned on follow Apple's instructions here.

 

Web.univer.se

If you are using our web app at web.univer.se you should not need to worry about updating. Refreshing the browser will ensure you're using the latest version. web.univer.se does not have every feature available on our iPhone, iPad, or Mac apps but we are working hard to bring all missing features to web as quickly as possible.
