While the Universe Sell Block currently only allows for merchants based in the United States it is possible to accept payments from international customers with some limitations. The Sell Block only supports collecting US based addresses for shipping. All transactions will be converted to United States Dollar (USD) which can incur an additional fee. If the majority of your sales are in USD to US based customers, the Sell Block is a great choice.

If you are selling primarily outside of the United States we recommend using the PayPal Block. The PayPal Block allows you to sell in every country supported by PayPal. The PayPal Block does not require your customers to have a PayPal account. They can pay using any credit card like normal with the option to use a PayPal account if they choose.

Another alternative option if you do not want to use the PayPal Block would be to embed a third party payment option inside the Code Block. This might be useful if you have unique payment requirements such as scheduling.
