How do I know which login method I used?

How to find out if you signed up using Sign in with Apple or email/password

Universe currently supports two authentication methods - Sign in with Apple and email/password. Starting with Universe 3.40.0, you can view which method you used.

To view your login method:

  • Head over to your profile by tapping the Profile icon in the top left (iOS). You can also swipe over to this screen. If you're on Mac or iPad, tap Profile Settings in the side menu.
  • Once on your profile, tap the Profile Info button.

  • At the bottom of the Profile Info screen, you can see which login method you used. It will either be displayed as Apple (Sign in with Apple) or Email (email/password).
