You'll need to cancel your subscription along with deleting your Universe account. Apple subscriptions are not automatically cancelled. 

Whenever you delete your Universe account, any associated subscriptions are not automatically cancelled since Apple manages all subscription information. You can cancel your Universe Pro subscription before or after deleting your Universe account. To cancel your Universe Pro subscription, you'll want to follow the guide here.
