When you upload images, videos, files, and other assets Universe stores them with your website. These assets are used for Image Blocks, Gallery Blocks, Video Blocks, Download Blocks, and more. Each Universe site plan includes a different amount of asset storage.

Asset Storage Limits by Plan

Your asset storage limit depends on the plan you have selected. Here’s a breakdown of the storage limits for each plan:

• Free: Up to 1GB of assets
• Base: Up to 5GB of assets
• Pro: Up to 25GB of assets
• Complete: Up to 250GB of assets

These limits apply to all content you upload to your site, including images, videos, page backgrounds, and files uploaded to the download block.

What Happens When You Reach Your Limit?

If you reach your storage limit, you will receive an alert within the editor when you attempt to upload additional assets. Here’s what you need to know:

• You'll see a notification in the editor indicating that you have reached your storage limit.
• We will never delete any of your assets. This applies to any users who uploaded more than the limit before we introduced storage limits. If you are over the limit we prevent you from uploading more assets but we do not automatically delete assets above the limit to protect you from data loss.
• To upload more assets, you'll need to upgrade to a plan with a higher storage limit or delete some less important assets until you are below the storage limit.

Future Storage Options

We understand that some users may require more storage than currently offered. While we are working on additional a la carte storage options, we encourage you to reach out to us if you need more storage. Your feedback helps us improve our services and meet your needs better.
