If you see the error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork error -1009.) this means your Apple device has disconnected from the internet before it could complete the operation. This can be a short term disconnection caused by a weak signal or a longer term disconnection caused by network downtime.
Most features of Universe require an internet connection to work.
How to get connected
If you are currently connected over a cellular network. Try finding an area with higher signal or join a wifi network and try again.
If you are currently connected over a wifi network the problem might be your wifi network. If you are using a VPN or firewall, try turning it off. If you are unable to connect while using wifi, try turning wifi off and see if you can connect over a cellular connection.
If you are able to load another website such as apple.com in Safari and you still see this error inside the Universe app, please take a screen recording and share it with us. There may be a problem with Universe servers or your ability to connect to Universe servers.
