Simple Analytics is a privacy-first Google Analytics alternative. It still offers powerful data about your website visitors and insights to understand their behavior. But it does not require cookies or invasive tracking to gather that data. Universe makes adding Simple Analytics to your website easier than ever.
To get started you will need to a Simple Analytics account. We do not require any code from Simple Analytics but your domain name needs to be set in the Simple Analytics dashboard.
Once you have your Simple Analytics account and have added your domain to Simple Analytics dashboard you can follow the instructions below to activate it for your website.
- Go to the Universe app and tap on the site you want to add Simple Analytics to.
- Go to the Site Settings tab
- Tap Marketing Integrations
- Tap on Setup next to Simple Analytics
- Turn it on. That is it. Simple Analytics is now live on your website.
It can take up to 24 hours for Simple Analytics to recognize your website is sending data and unlock insights about your visitors. If you do not see data right away try waiting overnight before adjusting your setup.
