Smart App Banners integrate with Apple operating systems to show a banner with a link to install your app without leaving your website. They are a great way to increase the trust in your website and promote downloading your app. Universe makes showing the Apple Smart App Banner easier than any other platform.

To get started you will need an app published on the Apple App Store and you will need your Apple App ID to enter into Universe.

1. Go to the Universe app and tap on the site you want to add the Smart App Banner to.
2. Go to the Site Settings tab

3. Tap Marketing Integrations

   

4. Tap on Setup next to Apple Smart App Banner
5. You will need to provide your Apple App ID. You can find the App ID inside App Store Connect or using Apple's App Store Marketing Tool to look up your App ID. You are looking for a 10 character id with numbers or letters.
6. Enter your Apple App ID into Universe. That is it. The Smart App Banner is now live on your website. The Smart App Banner appears automatically in Apple's software. If the app is installed the banner will adjust. If you hide the banner it will no longer show.
