The Meta tracking pixel, sometimes referred to as the Facebook tracking pixel, is a requirement to buy advertising for your website on Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta owned properties.
To get use Meta Pixel with your Univer.se Site, you will first need to get your Meta Pixel from the Meta Business Suite. If you have not already, follow Meta's steps to create a Meta Pixel. Under Step 2 of the Pixel setup, you will follow the instructions for the Manually add Pixel code to website option.
Copy the Pixel ID for the Meta Pixel want to add to your site, then follow the instructions below to add the pixel to your website.
- Go to the Univer.se app and tap on the site you want to install Meta tracking pixel on.
- Go to the Site Settings tab.
- Tap Marketing Integrations
- Tap on Setup next to Meta Pixel
- Paste your Meta Tracking Pixel ID (only Paste your ID, not the entire pixel code), then tap submit.
You have successfully added a Meta tracking pixel to your website. It can take up to 48 hours for Meta Business Suite to accurately recognize the tracking pixel on your website and to display insights.
