Google Analytics is a powerful tool used across the industry to dive deep into data about your website visitors and find insights to understand their behavior. Universe has the easiest to setup Google Analytics integration of any website builder.
To get started you will need to a Google Analytics account and access your Google Analytics Measurement ID. Check out this article from Google that will help you get setup here. The Universe Google Analytics integration is designed to work with Google Analytics 4. If you are on an older version of Google Analytics you will need to migrate to Google Analytics 4.
Once you have your Google Analytics Measurement ID you can follow the instructions below to get it added to your site.
- Go to the Universe app and tap on the site you want to add Google Analytics to.
- Go to the Site Settings tab
- Tap Marketing Integrations
- Tap on Setup next to Google Analytic
- Enter your Google Analytics Measurement ID and tap submit.
It can take up to 48 hours for Google Analytics to recognize your website is sending data and unlock insights about your visitors. If you do not see data right away try waiting overnight before adjusting your setup.
