TTL is short for 'Time To Live' and is the "expiration date" that for a DNS record. The TTL tells other servers how long they should keep that record in their DNS cache before asking for an updated record. The longer the TTL, the longer the information is cached.
When creating a new DNS record with Univer.se, we recommend using a TTL of 1 hour unless otherwise stated. If we do not offer the TTL requested by your DNS setup instructions, choose the closest option.
